Job summary

Bridgton Hospital is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant to join the Outpatient Physical Therapy team in Bridgton, ME. You will work under the supervision of a licensed PT to deliver prescribed therapies across musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and cardiopulmonary conditions, in a day-shift outpatient setting.

The role requires an A.A. degree, PA TA license in good standing, and current BCLS certification.

Qualifications

• A.A. Degree in Physical Therapy Assist.
• Current state Physical Therapist Assistant license.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction and supervision of the Physical Therapist, provides medically prescribed therapeutic services to restore function and prevent disability in patients.
• Performs responsibilities in accordance with Physical Therapy state and federal regulatory, licensing and accrediting requirements.
• Support patient care across musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiopulmonary and integumentary disorders.
