Job summary

Bridgton Hospital in Bridgton, ME is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide consultative and therapeutic services for patients with musculoskeletal, neuromuscular and cardiopulmonary disorders. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, applying evidence-based practice to restore function and prevent disability.

The role is a full-time, day-shift position in an inpatient setting with a $10,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current state OT certification/license.
  • Current BCLS (AHA) certificate.
  • NBCOT/OT boards certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provides medically prescribed consultative and therapeutic services within scope of practice in order to restore function and prevent disability for clients or patients with musculoskeletal, neuromuscular and cardiopulmonary disorders.
  • Functions according to professional practice as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care team.

Responsibilities

Provides medically prescribed consultative and therapeutic services within scope of practice in order to restore function and prevent disability for clients or patients with musculoskeletal, neuromuscular and cardiopulmonary disorders. Performs responsibilities in accordance with department and Hospital Policies, state, federal and regulatory requirements: Title 22 Section 70517, 70519. Functions according to professional practice as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care team.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current state Occupational Therapy certification/license.
  • Current BCLS (AHA) certificate.
  • National Board for Certification Occupational Therapy certification, AOTA and OTAC preferred.
Pay Transparency

Bridgton Hospital offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $XX.XX to $XX.XX.
