Job summary

Bridgton Hospital in Bridgton, ME is seeking a Physical Therapist I for full-time outpatient rehabilitation. You will deliver evidence-based therapy with one-on-one patient care, developing individualized treatment plans to restore function and reduce pain.

New graduates are welcome with mentorship and support; a sign-on bonus is offered. Monday-Thursday 4-10 hour days, with EMR integrated across Central Maine Healthcare system.

Qualifications

  • PT degree from an accredited program (Bachelor/Master/Doctorate).
  • Active state Physical Therapy license required.
  • BCLS/CPR from AHA within hire and maintained.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, gait training, mobility, and functional rehab.
  • Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs.
  • Collaborate with physicians and care teams to optimize outcomes.
  • Maintain EMR documentation and compliance with standards.

Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist I delivers evidence-based, patient-centered rehabilitation services to restore function, improve mobility, reduce pain, and maximize independence. You'll collaborate with physicians and an interdisciplinary care team to develop individualized treatment plans that help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.

  • Bachelor/ Masters/ Doctorate/Certificate degree in Physical Therapy
  • Current state Physical Therapy license
  • Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
