CoxHealth South in Springfield, MO is seeking a Physical Therapist to assist patients across pediatric to geriatric ages in returning to optimal movement through therapeutic exercise. The role emphasizes communication with physicians and care teams, and supports mobility, pain relief, and function restoration across units including acute care.

The position offers a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with mentorship for new graduates, a 40-hour work week, daytime shifts, and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
• Preferred: Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• Active Missouri licensure for Physical Therapy (Temporary not accepted).
• No prior experience required.
• Strong communication, human relations, and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Plan and implement prevention, habilitation, or rehabilitation services including mobility devices and counseling.

This position cares for patients from pediatric to geriatric age who are referred for medical and educational services. Responsible for planning and implementing prevention, habilitation, or rehabilitation services including mobility devices, counseling and orientation that improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury.
