CoxHealth is seeking a Physical Therapist for our Outpatient Orthopedic Therapy team in Springfield, MO. You will assess patients with orthopedic/neurologic needs, set goals, and develop a Plan of Care with appropriate treatments.

The role emphasizes mobility, pain relief, and functional improvement, with opportunities for mentorship and professional growth within a collaborative environment.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Masters or Doctorate from an accredited PT program preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assess and treat diagnoses with orthopedic or neurologic emphasis.
• Develop objective goals, Plan of Care, and conduct treatments.
• Plan and implement prevention, habilitation, or rehabilitation services to improve mobility and reduce pain.

As a part of their assessment, the therapist will develop objective and functional goals, a detailed Plan of Care, and a list of appropriate treatments and will work with all appropriate resources to carry out the Plan of Care and treatment. The Therapists is responsible to plan and implement prevention, habilitation, or rehabilitation services including, but not limited to, mobility devices, counseling and orientation that improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury.Overview of Unit/DepartmentOur Outpatient Orthopedic Therapy team helps patients regain strength, mobility, and independence in a supportive, collaborative environment.
