Job summary

Austill’s Educational Therapy Services is seeking a Physical Therapist to deliver school-based therapy for PreK–12 students in the West Chester, PA area.

The PT will develop IEP-driven treatment plans, collaborate with teachers and other professionals, and manage documentation and meetings within a school-day schedule. Travel between locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program.
• Active Pennsylvania Physical Therapist License.
• Pediatric or school-based experience preferred.
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Flexible scheduling aligned with school hours.
• Continuing education opportunities and mentorship.

Snapshot: Seeking a Physical Therapist to work 5 days per week with school age students for the 2026-27 school year.

Job Summary:

A Physical Therapist (PT) provides school-based therapy services to students from preschool through 12th grade. This role focuses on improving student mobility, physical function, and participation in the educational environment through direct therapy and collaboration with school teams.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services to assigned students (PreK–12)
• Develop and implement IEP goals and individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to support student success
• Complete required documentation, including:
• Progress notes
• IEP updates and annual reviews
• Participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Travel between school locations during the school day (if applicable)

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program
• Active Pennsylvania Physical Therapist License
• Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
