Job summary

Austill’s Educational Therapy Services in Delaware County, PA seeks a part-time Physical Therapist to support preschool through 12th grade in school-based therapy, with occasional school-age work in Broomall. You will provide direct PT services, develop IEP goals, collaborate with teachers and staff, and handle required documentation, traveling between locations within the school day.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program.
• Active Pennsylvania Physical Therapist License.
• Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred.
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct physical therapy services to assigned students (PreK–12).
• Develop and implement IEP goals and individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to support student success.
• Complete required documentation, including progress notes, IEP updates and annual reviews.
• Participate in IEP meetings as needed.

Location: Delaware County, PA (Broomall, Aston, Media)

Timeframe: 26-27 School Year

Snapshot: Seeking a PT to work with preschool students at daycares, building caseload. Possible school-age work (3 days/week) in Broomall.

A Physical Therapist (PT) provides school-based therapy services to students from preschool through 12th grade. This role focuses on improving student mobility, physical function, and participation in the educational environment through direct therapy and collaboration with school teams.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services to assigned students (PreK–12)
• Develop and implement IEP goals and individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to support student success
• Complete required documentation, including:
• Progress notes
• IEP updates and annual reviews
• Participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Travel between school locations during the school day (if applicable)

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program
