Austill's Educational Therapy Services in Pottsville, PA is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide school-based therapy to preschool through 12th-grade students during the 2026-27 school year. The PT will work five days per week with a focus on improving mobility and participation in the educational setting.

The role involves collaborating with teachers and school staff, developing IEP goals, documenting progress, and traveling between locations as needed.

Qualifications

• DPT degree required and PA license.
• Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation abilities.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsabilités

Location: Pottsville, PA Timeframe: 2026-27 School Year Snapshot: Austill's is seeking a Physical Therapist to work 5 days per week with preschool children in Schuylkill County, PA for the 2026-27 school year. Incentives available!

Job Summary:

A Physical Therapist (PT) provides school-based therapy services to students from preschool through 12th grade. This role focuses on improving student mobility, physical function, and participation in the educational environment through direct therapy and collaboration with school teams.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services to assigned students (PreK–12)
• Develop and implement IEP goals and individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to support student success
• Complete required documentation, including:
• Progress notes
• Data collection
• IEP updates and annual reviews
• Participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Travel between school locations during the school day (if applicable)

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program
• Active Pennsylvania Physical Therapist License
• Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Passion for working with children
