Job summary

Austill’s Educational Therapy Services seeks a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver school-based therapy 2 days per week for the 2026-27 year.

The role involves direct therapy for students from PreK to 12th grade, collaborating with school teams, and developing IEP-driven plans with strong documentation and a flexible schedule aligned to school hours.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited DPT program.
• Active PA Physical Therapist License.
• Pediatric or school-based experience preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Snapshot: Seeking a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant (with indirect license) to work 2 days per week with school age students for the 2026-27 school year.

Job Summary:

A Physical Therapist (PT) provides school-based therapy services to students from preschool through 12th grade. This role focuses on improving student mobility, physical function, and participation in the educational environment through direct therapy and collaboration with school teams.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services to assigned students (PreK–12)
• Develop and implement IEP goals and individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to support student success
• Complete required documentation, including:
• Progress notes
• IEP updates and annual reviews
• Participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Travel between school locations during the school day (if applicable)

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program
• Active Pennsylvania Physical Therapist License
• Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
