Austill's Educational Therapy Services is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide school-based therapy from preschool through 12th grade in Coatesville, PA. The role focuses on improving mobility and function within the educational setting and coordinating with school teams for student success.

The position requires a Doctor of Physical Therapy, active PA license, and preference for pediatric or school-based experience.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program.
• Active Pennsylvania Physical Therapist License.
• Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct physical therapy services to PreK–12 students.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to support student success.
• Complete required documentation: progress notes and data collection.
• Maintain IEP updates and annual reviews; participate in IEP meetings as needed.
• Travel between school locations during the school day, if applicable.

Location: Coatesville, PA Timeframe: 2026-27 School Year Snapshot: Austill's is seeking a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant (with indirect license) to work 2 days per week with school age students for the 2026-27 school year. Additional opportunities to work with preschool age children are available! Incentives available!

Job Summary:

A Physical Therapist (PT) provides school-based therapy services to students from preschool through 12th grade. This role focuses on improving student mobility, physical function, and participation in the educational environment through direct therapy and collaboration with school teams.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services to assigned students (PreK–12)
• Develop and implement IEP goals and individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to support student success
• Complete required documentation, including:
• Progress notes
• Data collection
• IEP updates and annual reviews
• Participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Travel between school locations during the school day (if applicable)

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program
• Active Pennsylvania Physical Therapist License
• Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Passion for working with children
