Associates in Pediatric Therapy (APT) is hiring a Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat children from birth to 21, focusing on mobility through targeted motor interventions. • Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Must hold an active, unrestricted Physical Therapy license.
• Able to work with a diverse, interdisciplinary care team.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat children from birth to age 21 to improve mobility through skilled gross motor interventions.
• Collaborate with caregivers and the interdisciplinary team to create and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain licensure and professional competencies in accordance with ethical and state/federal requirements.

What You’ll Do

• Examine and evaluate children from birth to age 21 with a variety of congenital and orthopedic conditions to improve mobility through skilled gross motor interventions. Including but not limited to gait training, equipment and orthotic management, neuromuscular re-education, and therapeutic exercises.
• Work closely with patient caregivers and the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Maintains professional/technical competencies and proficiencies for job responsibilities and upholds federal/state licensure and ethical expectations.

What We’re Looking For

• Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy and hold an applicable and current, unrestricted license to practice (or in the process of obtaining license).
• An individual who thrives on being part of a team, working alongside other disciplines, as needed.
