Job summary

Associates in Pediatric Therapy (APT) seeks a Doctor of Physical Therapy to join our clinician-run team and provide care for children from birth to 21 years old. You will evaluate mobility, create individualized plans, and collaborate with families and an interdisciplinary team to drive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy and an applicable, current license to practice.

Responsibilities

• Examine and treat children from birth to age 21 with a variety of congenital and orthopedic conditions to improve mobility, including gait training, equipment or orthotic management, and therapeutic exercises.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with patient caregivers and the interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain professional competencies and licensure and uphold ethical expectations.

What You’ll Do:

• Examine and evaluate children from birth to age 21 with a variety of congenital and orthopedic conditions to improve mobility through skilled gross motor interventions. Including but not limited to gait training, equipment and orthotic management, neuromuscular re-education, and therapeutic exercises.
• Work closely with patient caregivers and the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Maintains professional/technical competencies and proficiencies for job responsibilities and upholds federal/state licensure and ethical expectations.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

• Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy and hold an applicable and current, unrestricted license to practice (or in the process of obtaining license).
• An individual who thrives on being part of a team, working alongside other disciplines, as needed.
