Powder Springs Center For Nursing and Healing, part of Empire Care Centers, is seeking a Physical Therapist to develop and manage a prescribed therapy program for residents.

You will supervise PTs assistants and aides, teach PT/ PTA students, and leverage your experience in long-term care to improve function, reduce pain, and prevent disability.

Summary

As a Physical Therapist at Powder Springs Center For Nursing and Healing, you will play a vital role in planning and administering a prescribed physical therapy treatment program. Your goal will be to help patients/residents restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following illness, disease, or injury. In addition to providing expert care, you will also have the opportunity to supervise physical therapy assistants and aides, as well as instruct students participating in PT and PTA programs. Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing homes is preferred.
