Job summary

Jonesboro Center for Nursing and Healing is hiring a Physical Therapist (PT) to assess residents, develop and administer treatment plans, and restore function after illness or injury. You will collaborate with a compassionate team to deliver high-quality care in a long-term care setting.

The role includes supervising physical therapy assistants and aides, and guiding PT/PTA students. Prior experience in long-term care is preferred, and a commitment to resident well-being is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in long-term care preferred.
• Supervision of PT assistants a plus.
• Experience with PT/ PTA student instruction a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer prescribed physical therapy treatment programs.
• Supervise physical therapy assistants and aides.
• Instruct PT/ PTA students during clinical sessions.

Summary:

As a Physical Therapist (PT) at Jonesboro Center for Nursing and Healing, you will play a vital role in planning and administering a prescribed physical therapy treatment program. Your goal will be to help patients/residents restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following illness, disease, or injury. In addition to providing expert care, you will also have the opportunity to supervise physical therapy assistants and aides, as well as instruct students participating in PT and PTA programs. Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing homes is preferred.
