Job summary

Jonesboro Center for Nursing and Healing is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to plan and administer a prescribed therapy program. You will aim to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability in residents in a long-term care setting.

In this role you may supervise physical therapy assistants and aides and instruct PT/PTA students. Prior experience in skilled nursing homes is preferred, and you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Plan and administer a prescribed physical therapy treatment program.
• Restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following illness, disease, or injury.
• Supervise physical therapy assistants and aides; instruct PT/PTA students.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing homes is preferred.

Responsibilities

Summary:

As a Physical Therapist (PT) at Jonesboro Center for Nursing and Healing, you will play a vital role in planning and administering a prescribed physical therapy treatment program. Your goal will be to help patients/residents restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following illness, disease, or injury. In addition to providing expert care, you will also have the opportunity to supervise physical therapy assistants and aides, as well as instruct students participating in PT and PTA programs. Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing homes is preferred.
