Job summary

Amedisys is hiring a Physical Therapist in Oregon for part-time Flex Days. You will support patients at home, helping maintain and improve movement and function, with periodic reexaminations and discharge planning as needed.

The role runs Monday–Friday with pay from $64.00 to $80.00 per hour, and benefits including medical plans with telehealth, paid time off, and a company 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice physical therapy in the state of assignment.
• Graduate from an accredited PT program as set by CAPTE.
• One year of related PT experience for home health; mentoring if less than one year.
• Current CPR certification.

• Help patients maintain, restore and improve movement, activity and function.
• Provide interventions, conduct reexaminations every 30 days, modify as needed and perform discharge planning.

Responsibilities

• Provides interventions, conducts reexaminations (every 30 days, at minimum), modifies interventions as necessary, and performs discharge planning.


• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice physical therapy specific to the state you're assigned to work in.


• Graduate from an accredited physical therapy educational program as set by the Commission on Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).


• One year related physical therapy experience for PTs entering home health care to ensure that knowledge and skills are sufficient to safely provide physical therapy services to patients.


• If less than one year of experience, approval from regional clinical leaders is required as well as appropriate mentoring and/or participating in a residency program.


• Current CPR certification.
