Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a Physical Therapist for full-time daytime home health in Tulsa, OK. You’ll help patients maintain and improve movement in the comfort of their homes, with flexible scheduling and support.

The role offers competitive pay between $120,000 and $135,000 per year, plus comprehensive benefits including medical plans, PTO, wellness rewards, mental health support, 401(k) with match, and more.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice physical therapy in the state of assignment.
• Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program.
• One year of related physical therapy experience for home health; mentoring if less than one year.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Help patients maintain, restore and improve movement, activity and function.
• Provide interventions, conduct reexaminations (every 30 days minimum), modify interventions as necessary, and perform discharge planning.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice physical therapy specific to the state you're assigned to work in.

• Graduate from an accredited physical therapy educational program as set by the Commission on Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
• One year related physical therapy experience for PTs entering home health care to ensure that knowledge and skills are sufficient to safely provide physical therapy services to patients.
• If less than one year of experience, approval from regional clinical leaders is required as well as appropriate mentoring and/or participating in a residency program.
• Current CPR certification.
