Select Physical Therapy is seeking a Full-Time outpatient Physical Therapist in New Milford, CT

Located directly below an orthopedic physician office, the New Milford Select Physical Therapy center sees a very diverse patient population of musculoskeletal injuries. This center also sees a high volume of post-operative patients due to relationships with many orthopedic physicians in the area. The center is over 7500 sq feet and includes a squash ball court, basketball hoop, full array of Cybex equipment, and open gym environment for functional training. The team consists of 3 full-time therapists, 1 PTA, and 1 CHT. The focus is on evidence-based treatment to achieve the best outcomes for our patients.

Schedule: Monday through Friday

PRN and part-time positions are also available

Compensation: Salary up to $100k based on experience

Responsibilities

• Understand and adhere to state practice acts and laws governing physical therapy practice and supervision.
• Complete and maintain all required training and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Evaluate, treat, and document treatment plans for patients needing physical therapy.
• Maintain respectful communication with colleagues, physicians, patients, families, and third-party payors.
• Participate in facility meetings as directed by the center manager.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an APTA-accredited PT program
• Valid State Physical Therapist License
