Position Summary

We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to support our musculoskeletal care program through virtual patient assessments and clinical chart reviews. The role involves evaluating patients' functional status via telehealth, reviewing medical records and treatment plans, and ensuring compliance with evidence-based practices and program goals. The ideal candidate will promote high-quality, effective, and well-documented care, combining clinical expertise with critical review of patient documentation to ensure safe, consistent, and outcome-driven care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform clinical assessments to evaluate functional status, limitations, and therapy needs according to MSK protocols.
• Review patient charts and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Document evaluations, findings, and recommendations clearly and promptly within the EHR.
• Ensure care plans and interventions align with evidence-based MSK standards and program objectives.
• Identify red flags or gaps in care and escalate as needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support quality assurance and program improvements.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and other relevant regulations.
• Participate in initiatives to enhance patient care and program performance.
• Stay updated with the latest evidence-based practices and MSK advancements.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited PT program or equivalent for U.S. licensure.
• Active, unrestricted U.S. Physical Therapy license.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in musculoskeletal or orthopedic rehab.
• Experience with chart review, quality assurance, documentation improvement, and care plan development.
• Strong attention to detail and clinical judgment.
• Knowledge of regulatory and industry standards.
• Ability to work independently remotely, proficient with EHR systems.
• Multi-state licensure or Physical Therapy Compact membership is highly desirable.
