The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a Physical Therapist for Home Based Care in Eastern Oklahoma. This role involves direct patient care and requires a valid physical therapy license. Applicants should have relevant degrees and experience, particularly in home health settings. The position is multi-disciplinary and emphasizes autonomous decision-making and clinical oversight.
The Physical Therapist Home Based Care is assigned to the Primary Care for the Eastern Oklahoma VA Health Care System, providing Occupational therapy services.
Primary responsibility: Direct patient care of patients referred and/or requiring Physical Therapy intervention.
This is a multi-disciplinary position that can be filled by either an Occupational Therapist or a Physical Therapist.

The Physical Therapist will:
Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
GS-11 Entry Level: No experience beyond basic requirements.
GS-12 Full Performance: One year of experience at GS-11 level, valid license, and demonstrated KSAs including autonomous decision-making, examination and evaluation skills, diagnosis, prognosis, and clinical oversight abilities.

Ability to walk, stand, bend, reach overhead, push Veterans and objects, sit for prolonged periods, and lift/carry 15-44 pounds.
