Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Physical Therapist License.

• Ability to manage patient care independently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and follow-up physical therapy assessments.
• Establish measurable short- and long-term treatment goals.
• Treat orthopedic injuries and post-surgical conditions.
• Provide strengthening, flexibility, balance, and mobility training.
• Progress therapeutic activities according to patient ability.
• Perform hands-on treatment when appropriate.
• Reassess functional performance throughout treatment.

Expected Patient Schedule: 1–2 patients per hour

About the Opportunity

An orthopedic outpatient practice in Edison is hiring a Physical Therapist to manage a varied caseload of patients with orthopedic injuries, post-operative needs, pain, and mobility restrictions.

The position requires a PT who can make sound clinical decisions throughout the rehabilitation process. You will determine treatment priorities, track functional changes, and progress patients according to their individual goals and response to care.
