Schedule is 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday–Friday, with a low patient load of 1–2 per hour, focusing on outcomes after orthopedic injuries and surgeries.

Qualifications

• Active PT license required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations.
• Identify mobility, strength, balance, and functional limitations.
• Set short- and long-term rehabilitation goals.
• Deliver evidence-based orthopedic PT interventions.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and functional movements.
• Provide hands-on treatment when appropriate.
• Educate patients on safe home exercise programs.
• Document evaluations, treatments, progress, and outcomes.
• Regularly reassess and update plans of care.

Outpatient Physical Therapist (PT) – Build Better Patient Outcomes

Woodbridge, New Jersey | Full-Time | Orthopedic Outpatient

Salary: $90K–$100K/year, depending on experience
Hours: Monday -Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Caseload: 1–2 patients per hour

About the Position

An established orthopedic outpatient setting in Woodbridge, NJ is looking for an experienced Physical Therapist (PT) to join its clinical team.

Your day will center on helping patients recover from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, chronic musculoskeletal conditions, and movement limitations. You will evaluate each patient's current function, establish measurable rehabilitation goals, and provide treatment designed to improve mobility and restore practical movement.

The schedule is structured around approximately one to two patients per hour rather than a high-volume treatment model.

What You'll Do

• Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations
• Identify mobility, strength, balance, flexibility, and functional limitations
• Establish appropriate short- and long-term rehabilitation goals
• Deliver evidence-informed orthopedic physical therapy interventions
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercise and functional movement programs
• Provide hands‑on treatment when appropriate
• Teach patients safe techniques and exercises they can continue outside the clinic
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, progress, and outcomes
• Reassess patients regularly and update plans of care based on progress

• Active PT license
• Graduate of an accredited DPT or MSPT program
• Prior experience working in an outpatient physical therapy environment
• Experience treating orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
• Ability to manage treatment plans and clinical documentation independently
