Desert Mountain Healthcare in Indio, CA is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to join our in-house therapy team. We offer a flexible schedule with competitive pay of $60 to $68 per hour based on experience, serving a geriatric population in post-acute and long-term care settings.

License in Physical Therapy is required; new grads are welcome. This role focuses on comprehensive rehabilitation, wound care, and discharge planning within a values-driven environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care; develop care plans.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions.
• Administer procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan (manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, assistive devices, wound care).
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers.
• Generate discharge summaries ensuring regulatory and clinical compliance.

PHYSICAL THERAPIST – PRN – DESERT MOUNTAIN HEALTHCARE – INDIO, CA

Desert Mountain Healthcare in Indio, CA , is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric outpatient services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to join our in-house therapy team.

Full Time : Flexible schedule with work-life balance
Pay: $60 - $68/hour based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Qualifications:
