Job summary

Mission Care Center in Rosemead, CA seeks a PRN Physical Therapist to join our in‑house therapy team. You will work with Think Thin/dysphagia, dementia, stroke rehabilitation and respiratory recovery programs while maintaining flexible PRN hours.

We offer competitive pay ($55-$65/hour) based on experience and a supportive environment with ongoing training and education opportunities to advance your clinical skills.

Qualifications

• Physical Therapy license is required.
• Open to Physical Therapists at all experience levels. New Grads are welcome!

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care needs and develop appropriate care plans.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions.
• Administer procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and wound care.
• Provide counseling to patients, families, and other providers regarding physical disorders.
• Prepare comprehensive discharge summaries compliant with regulatory and clinical standards.

PHYSICAL THERAPIST - PRN

We are seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to join our in-house therapy team. As part of this amazing team of clinicians, you will have opportunities for training and continuing education in Think Thin/dysphagia, Abilities Care and dementia, stroke and neuro rehabilitation, and respiratory recovery programs.

PRN: Flexible schedule with work-life balance

Pay: $55 - $65/hour based on experience

Duties:

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.
