Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist for the North Keystone location. The role focuses on restoring function, reducing pain, and preventing disability through direct patient care, supervision of staff, and involvement in education and department operations.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid Indiana PT license, BLS certification, and may need ALS credentials depending on unit requirements. This is an on-site position with a 30-hour weekly schedule.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy or Bachelor’s/Master’s in Physical Therapy (before 2016).
• Current Physical Therapist license in Indiana.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the AHA.
• Advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department.

Requirements

• Requires a Doctoral Degree from an accredited academic program in physical therapy or a Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in physical therapy prior to 2016. If foreign trained, graduation from a physical therapy education program outside the US with educationally equivalent coursework accepted by Indiana PLA.
• Requires current Physical Therapist license in the State of Indiana.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.

Roles and Responsibilities

Provides physical therapy services to restore function, reduce pain and prevent disability following disease or injury, and assists patients to reach maximum performance levels. Provides all components of direct patient care including supervision of physical therapist assistants, support personnel and students. Willingly participates in related activities in support of patient care, education and department operations.
