Job summary

IU Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette, IN is seeking a Physical Therapist to deliver direct patient care, supervise assistants and students, and support department operations. The role focuses on restoring function, reducing pain, and preventing disability after disease or injury.

The position requires graduation from an accredited PT program, Indiana PT license, and BLS. Shift is 6 days on, 8 days off (Thu–Tue) with 2 weekend days per month, in a fast-paced inpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program is required.
• If foreign trained, graduation from a PT education program outside the US with equivalent coursework accepted by Indiana PLA.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services to restore function, reduce pain and prevent disability following disease or injury.
• Supervises physical therapist assistants, support personnel and students and participates in related activities.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Provides physical therapy services to restore function, reduce pain and prevent disability following disease or injury, and assists patients to reach maximum performance levels. Provides all components of direct patient care including supervision of physical therapist assistants, support personnel and students. Willingly participates in related activities in support of patient care, education and department operations.
