Job summary

IU Health's Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis is hiring a full-time Physical Therapist to restore function and reduce disability through comprehensive therapy services. You will supervise PT assistants and students and collaborate with care teams to support patient outcomes.

Required are a Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy (or pre-2016 bachelor/master), Indiana license, and Basic Life Support. Advanced life support per unit may be needed. Benefits include PTO, 401(k) match, and other programs.

• Active Physical Therapist license in Indiana.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

This is a full-time position in Wound Management at Methodist Hospital.

Provides physical therapy services to restore function, reduce pain and prevent disability following disease or injury, and assists patients to reach maximum performance levels. Provides all components of direct patient care including supervision of physical therapist assistants, support personnel and students. Willingly participates in related activities in support of patient care, education and department operations.

• Requires a Doctoral Degree from an accredited academic program in physical therapy or a Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in physical therapy prior to 2016. If foreign trained, graduation from a physical therapy education program outside the US with educationally equivalent coursework accepted by Indiana PLA.
• Requires current Physical Therapist license in the State of Indiana.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.

• Advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
