Job summary

Career Links is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to provide services in a school-based setting. This part-time, in-person role supports students' mobility, education access, and functional goals.

The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy, be licensed in the state, and have strong teamwork, communication, and documentation skills to collaborate with teachers, families, and service providers.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Physical Therapist license in the state of practice.
• Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred.
• Knowledge of IDEA, IEP processes, and educationally relevant therapy services preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, families, and related service providers.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs.
• Conduct evaluations and reassessments to determine eligibility and service recommendations.
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district, state, and federal regulations.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide consultation to educational staff.
