Job summary

Career Links is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to provide school-based services, helping students improve mobility and access to their educational environment. This part-time, in-person role partners with special education teams and families to deliver meaningful therapy.

The ideal candidate holds a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy, maintains an active PT license, and has pediatric experience or a strong interest in school settings.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Physical Therapist license in the state of practice.
• Pediatric or school-based experience preferred.
• Knowledge of IDEA and IEP processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, families, and related service providers
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs
• Conduct evaluations and reassessments to determine eligibility and service recommendations
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide consultation to educational staff
