Job summary

Tallahassee Orthopedic & Sports Physical Therapy (TOSPT) is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join our team in Crawfordville, FL. You will deliver 1:1 care, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and utilize a mix of exercises, manual therapy, and education to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• DPT from an accredited program.
• Current Florida PT license or eligibility.
• Evidence-based, patient-centered care approach.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing patients' medical history.
• Provide 1:1 care with patients, averaging ~40 minutes per visit.
• Diagnose movements and listen to patient concerns.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with clear goals and outcomes.
• Use exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to reduce pain and improve mobility.
• Record progress and adjust plans as needed.

Responsibilities

You’ll achieve success by:

• Reviewing patients medical history
• Provide excellent 1:1 care for your patients, spending an average of 40 minutes with each person
• Diagnosing patients by observing their movements and listening to their concerns
• Developing individualized treatment plans for patients with clear goals and expected outcomes
• Using exercises, stretching, equipment, and hands-on manual therapy to manage patients' pain, increase mobility, and prevent further pain and injury
• Recording patient progress and modifying the plan of care as needed

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
• Current Florida PT license or eligibility
