Description

Austill's Educational Services, the leading provider of school-based related services in southeastern PA, seeks a physical therapist or physical therapist assistant (must have indirect license) to work this summer/ESY session with school-age students for 4 days/week beginning 6/30/25 (orientation week prior) through 7/31/25 in Doylestown and/or New Hope, PA. We have additional opportunities for the 25-26 school year if you seek an ongoing caseload!

Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant

  • Direct therapy with students in preschool to grade 12
  • Consultation with teachers, other therapists, support staff, and families to facilitate classroom mobility and participation.
  • Documentation requirements include data collection, marking period progress updates, and yearly IEP revisions, including updated goals and treatment strategies.
  • Attendance at IEP meetings is recommended.
  • Some travel may be required throughout the school day
Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy or Physical Therapist Assistant educational program.
  • Valid Pennsylvania Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant Indirect License
  • Passion for working with children and a clear dedication to helping them maximize their potential
  • Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills
  • Exceptional desire to be a collaborative team member, learn and grow
