Job summary

Clarksville Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to support the occupational therapy team in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. You will assist patients aged 18 and older to achieve maximum functional performance while learning to work within personal capabilities.

Under supervision, you will document patient responses, track outcomes, and maintain accurate treatment records.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross is required; online certification is not acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Perform components of occupational therapy procedures under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Assist patients aged 18+ with rehabilitation to maximize functional performance.
• Record patient responses to treatment and report progress to the Occupational Therapist.
• Document treatment progress in patient records with attention to accuracy and timelines.

Clarksville Rehabilitation Hospital is a brand new startup with 40 private patient suites and set to take its first patient October 2026.

Position Summary

Performscomponentof occupational therapy procedures and related tasks under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapistandin accordance withpractices of occupational therapy. Patient population ranges in age from 18 years to geriatric experiencingrehabilitation diagnosis/conditions and/or conditions requiring rehabilitation.Assistpatients in achieving his/her maximum functionalperformance while learning to live within his/her capabilities. Recordpatient’sresponses to treatment and report treatment outcomesto the Occupational Therapist.

Pay: Rate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American RedCross. Online certification is not acceptable.

Desired Qualification

• Inpatient rehabilitation experience.
