Job summary

Clarksville Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking an Occupational Therapist for PRN weekends. The role focuses on evaluating and developing treatment plans to maximize independence in ADLs, IADLs, education, work, play and social participation within an inpatient rehab context.

Strong communication and organizational skills are essential. Minimum qualifications include OT licensure and BLS certification; inpatient rehab experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross.
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate independently and determine treatment strategies to maximize function in ADL, IADL, education, work, play and social participation.
• Deliver or delegate services to identify, prevent, remediate and rehabilitate deficits.
• Promote safety and performance in daily living activities and functional tasks.
• Coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team and document progress.
• Maintain clear communication with patients and families about goals and progress.

Clarksville Rehabilitation Hospital is a brand new startup with 40 private patient suites and set to take its first patient October 2026.

Position Summary

Independently evaluates,determinesthe treatment strategies, delivers and/or delegates services thatidentify, prevent,remediateand rehabilitate acute or prolonged, skill or ability that has not yet is impairedinorder tomaximize functionin the areas of activities of daily living, leisure/recreation, and productivity/work. Addresses dysfunction in psychosocialskills, cognition, and sensorimotor components. Interventions and procedures to promote or enhance safety andperformance inactivitiesofdaily living (ADL), instrumental activities of daily living (IADL), education,work, play, leisure, and social participation.

Pay:Rate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American RedCross. Online certification is not acceptable.
