Job summary

Clarksville Rehabilitation Hospital seeks a Physical Therapy Assistant (PRN) to support inpatient rehabilitation services in Clarksville, IN. You will assist in patient care, support clinicians, and contribute to treatment plans for adults and geriatric patients under supervision.

Responsibilities include administering therapy sessions, documenting progress, and educating patients and families on exercises and safety.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• BLS certification from AHA/Red Cross is required.

Clarksville Rehabilitation Hospital is a brand new startup with 40 private patient suites and set to take its first patient June 15th, 2026.

Position Summary:

The Physical Therapy Assistant treats referred patients, ranging in age from 18 years to geriatric who are experiencing rehabilitation diagnosis or conditions requiring rehabilitation.Assistsin patient care to assesstheirmedical condition, functional capabilities and limitations and restrictions and potential for rehabilitation.Administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patients’capacityand tolerance under the direction of the Physician and Physical Therapist. Educate patients and familiesinappropriate physicaltherapy methods.

Pay:Rate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current state licensure asanPhysical Therapist Assistant
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American RedCross. Online certification is not acceptable

DesiredExperience:

• Inpatient rehabilitation experience
