Godshall Recruiting is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver home health services in South Carolina. You will oversee evaluations, develop care plans, and supervise assistants to improve mobility and independence.

Strong EMR documentation skills and a SC license are required, with a direct-hire, full-time arrangement. This role emphasizes personalized patient care and collaboration with physicians to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral level program accredited by the APTA.
• Current, unencumbered license to practice in South Carolina.
• Experience with EMR documentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the delivery of physical therapy services to patients in the home health setting.
• Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and provide treatment interventions per physician orders and patient needs.
• Delegate supervision to Physical Therapist Assistants and provide ongoing direction.
• Educate therapy team members on treatment plans, patient precautions, outcomes, and follow-up care.
• Develop individualized care plans with measurable objectives and adjust treatments with physician collaboration.

What your day will look like:

• Oversee and coordinate the delivery of physical therapy services to patients in the home health setting.


• Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and provide treatment interventions based on physician orders and individualized patient needs.


• Delegate appropriate therapeutic activities to Physical Therapist Assistants and provide ongoing direction and supervision.


• Educate and support therapy team members regarding treatment plans, patient precautions, expected outcomes, and follow-up care requirements.


• Develop individualized care plans with measurable short-term and long-term objectives, monitor patient progress, and adjust treatments as needed in collaboration with the physician.
