Job summary

Carolina Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team in South Carolina. You will work with diverse patients across orthopedics, hand, neurological, vestibular, and post-surgical care.

We offer competitive pay beginning at $75,000 with experience-based increases, a comprehensive benefits package valued over $20,000, sign-on and student loan assistance, plus generous PTO and no weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on evaluation results.

  • Coordinate with staff and physicians; ensure timely documentation and reports.

Job Description

We're seeking an innovativePhysical Therapistto join our team at our location. If you're excited about working with experienced clinicians as well as young and energized clinicians, a varied patient population ranging from young athletes to older adults, orthopedics, hand, neurological, vestibular/balance, post-surgical, then this is the clinic to grow in.   • Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on the evaluation results
  • Review the physician's referral (prescription) and the patient's condition and medical records to determine the physical therapy treatment required
  • Provide direct patient care by established protocols and patient care guidelines
  • Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers
  • Responsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians
  • Complete a written plan of care, develop goals based on evaluation findings, and develop a comprehensive program to attain goals
  • Implement physical therapy treatment program and provide essential physical therapy treatments
  • Communicate effectively with patients/caregivers and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance companies
  • Ensure timely documentation, including daily notes, weekly workers' compensation reports, progress reports, initial evaluations, discharge summaries, and incident reports
