Job summary

Stone Security, a BearCom Company, is seeking a Project Technician to join our growing team. You will install, program, start-up, certify, and train customers on security projects, while wiring and field-terminating devices.

You will inspect systems, replace faulty components, ensure compliance with Stone Security Standards, and work with blueprints and schematics. Travel is required, with growth opportunities as Stone expands.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience installing network camera systems (Milestone, Axis, Hanwha and Bosch).
• 3 years of experience installing security systems (DMP and Bosch).
• 3 years of experience installing access control systems (Lenel and S2).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proven track record of leading a security installation team.
• Aptitude for networking, computers and general IT is preferred.
• On-the-job training may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Performs other related duties as required.

• Physical Requirements:
• Ability to use hand and power tools to install hardware.
• Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders.
• Physically able to install system hardware and wiring.
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs. at a time.
