Qualifications
- Active license to practice in the state of employment (Illinois).
- Current DEA license required on start date.
- ANCC or AANP certification.
- Desire to work in Physiatry/PM&R.
- Orthopedic experience is a plus.
- Skilled Nursing experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with therapists, nurses, and other professionals to develop comprehensive rehab plans.
- Conduct patient assessments, histories, exams, and diagnostic evaluations for rehab goals.
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans to optimize independence.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and ongoing education.
- Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems.
- Educate patients and families about rehabilitation and post-discharge care.
