Job summary

Agile Occupational Medicine is seeking a 1099 Physiatrist in California to diagnose and manage pain and rehabilitation for work-related injuries. You will work with a multidisciplinary team including physical therapists, chiropractors, and other clinicians, under the supervision of the occupational medicine physician.

The role emphasizes fast recovery with proactive scheduling and follow-up to return injured workers to work and life.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical program with an M.D. or D.O. and an unrestricted California medical license.
• Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction.
• Board certified or eligible in the state where employed and in accordance with state laws of practice.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage musculoskeletal issues and related conditions from work injuries.
• Develop individualized treatment plans including therapy, medications, injections, and non-surgical interventions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Complete timely documentation in EMR.
