Job summary

Agile Occupational Medicine in California is seeking a 1099 Physiatrist to diagnose and treat pain management and physical rehabilitation from work-related injuries. You will work with a multidisciplinary team including physical therapists, chiropractors, and other clinicians under the supervision of an occupational medicine physician, coordinating care with employers.

The ideal candidate holds an MD or DO, California licensure, and DEA registration, with board certification or eligible in

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical program
• Unrestricted CA medical license
• Board certification or eligibility in physiatry or occupational medicine
• Active DEA registration
• Current BLS certification
• Medical malpractice insurance
• Proficient with MS Office and patient management software
• Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success
• Background in occupational medicine, physical medicine & rehab, or outpatient setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage musculoskeletal and related conditions from work injuries
• Develop individualized treatment plans including physical medicine and rehab options
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Educate patients on conditions and rehabilitation process
• Complete timely and accurate documentation in EMR
