Zusammenfassung

Agile Occupational Medicine is seeking a licensed Physiatrist (1099) to diagnose and provide specialist services in pain management and physical rehabilitation for work-related injuries. You will work with a multidisciplinary team and collaborate with employers on case management.

The role emphasizes fast recovery, aggressive scheduling, and high-quality patient care, with the goal of getting injured workers back to work and daily life quickly. California license, DEA, and BLS required.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited medical program with an MD or DO and unrestricted California medical license.
• Board-certified or eligible in the state where employed and in accordance with state laws of practice.
• Active DEA registration required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Current Medical Malpractice Insurance coverage.
• Background in occupational medicine, physical medicine and rehabilitation, or outpatient setting preferred.

Aufgaben

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of physical disabilities and conditions from work-related injuries; assess patients’ medical history, physical exams, and x-rays
• Develop individualized treatment plans that may include physical therapy, therapeutic exercises, medications, injections, and non-surgical interventions to improve function and mobility
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists and medical doctors, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients on their conditions and its prevention and the rehabilitation process
• Complete timely and accurate documentation in EMR
