Job summary

Swabian Instruments is seeking a technically skilled sales professional to bridge cutting-edge photonics and user researchers. You will own opportunities end-to-end, run structured discovery, and lead demos and PoCs to deliver technical wins.

You will configure quotations, navigate multi-stakeholder buying groups, and maintain strong customer relationships through onboarding and growth. A hunter mentality and weekly pipeline management are essential.

Responsibilities

• Own opportunities end-to-end from discovery to close with a bookings target.
• Conduct structured discovery with researchers and engineers to map solutions.
• Lead demonstrations, evaluations, and PoCs with clear technical wins.
• Prepare quotations and defend value to protect margins during negotiations.
• Manage onboarding with Application Scientists and grow accounts through repeat business.
• Self-source pipeline through outbound initiatives and events.
• Provide feedback to Product Management and Engineering on market needs.
• Maintain accurate pipeline, forecast, and CRM data.
