Job summary

Teradyne in San Jose, CA, is seeking a Field Application Engineer (RF, SiPho) to develop test solutions for RF and Silicon Photonics devices. You will collaborate with customers and internal teams to deploy, debug, and optimize ATE-based test setups across digital, analog, and high-speed domains.

The ideal candidate has a B.E./B.Tech in electrical or computer engineering, 6–10 years of semiconductor test experience, strong programming skills (C#, VB.NET, C/C++, Java), and travel willingness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
• 6–10 years semiconductor test industry experience with hands-on IC test development.
• Experience with RF testing and Automated Test Equipment (ATE).
• Strong programming knowledge: C#, VB.NET, C/C++, Java.

Responsibilities

• Develop, debug, and deploy test solutions for RF, SoC, and Silicon Photonics devices.
• Develop test program software in a collaborative engineering environment.
• Review load board and probe card schematics for test solution implementation.
• Analyze problems and optimize customer throughput on Teradyne ATE platforms.
