Job summary

Teradyne is seeking a Field Applications Engineer (RF, SiPho) in California to develop and deploy test solutions for advanced semiconductor devices. You will collaborate with teams to optimize test throughput, review hardware for test integration, and support customers with engineering guidance and training.

You will travel up to 25% domestically and internationally, applying your RF, SiPho, and software skills across multiple device platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 6 to 10 years semiconductor test industry experience with hands-on IC component test development experience.
• Test and Product Engineering experience in RF testing.
• Strong programming knowledge with languages such as C#, VB.NET, C++, C, or Java.

Responsibilities

• Develop, debug, and deploy test solutions for Digital, High-Speed Digital, SoC, Mixed-Signal, Analog, RF, and Silicon Photonics devices.
• Develop test program software in a collaborative engineering environment.
• Review load board and probe card schematics and layouts for test solution implementation.
• Analyze technical problems and recommend solutions on Teradyne ATE platforms to optimize customer throughput.
• Collaborate with customer test engineering teams to understand and improve test processes.
• Deliver customer training, technical exchanges, and technical presentations.
