This hands-on role requires coordinating R&D, manufacturing engineering, and operations, driving design reviews, managing milestones, and reporting on risks and progress.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years engineering in design, manufacturing, quality, or PLM.
• 2+ years of engineering management experience.
• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Optics, Physics, or related field.
• Experience leading teams in photonics or precision systems.
• Ability to manage schedules and iterative development cycles.

Responsabilités

• Lead multidisciplinary teams in photonics component design and system integration.
• Drive iterative design cycles to shorten development time.
• Ensure designs are manufacturable and production-ready.
• Oversee system integration across optical, mechanical, and electronic subsystems.
• Lead design reviews and risk mitigation.
• Deliver performance updates on project status and risks.
