Thorlabs, based in Newton, NJ, is seeking a capable project/program manager to lead end-to-end custom solutions projects, from qualification through delivery, validation, and post-launch support. This role is the primary interface between internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure technical, schedule, and commercial commitments are met.

Must be a US person to work with ITAR products. The position involves travel up to 10% and requires a BS in engineering or optics; an MBA is a plus and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a similar and progressive position.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, optics, or related technical field; MBA preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead full lifecycle customer programs.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, milestones, and resources.
• Coordinate strategic project decisions (Resource allocation, supply chain, priorities).
• Manage stakeholder relationships across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance and Legal.
• Collaborate with Sales on commercial aspects of projects.
• Monitor schedule, scope, cost and quality; manage risks and changes.
• Prepare and deliver executive status reports.
