Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is hiring a Photo Equipment Technician to support photolithography equipment setup, calibration, and maintenance. You will collaborate with engineers and manufacturing to perform preventative maintenance, data collection and in-line adjustments, and process testing to ensure manufacturing quality.

The role requires an Associates degree or technical certification, plus 2+ years of relevant experience in mechanical or computer-based troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or other technical certification is required.
• 2+ years of relevant technical experience or military service is preferred.
• Prior experience with mechanical or computer-based troubleshooting is expected.
• Familiarity with 6S best practices is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and quality mindset while working with basic hand tools in photolithography processes.
• Troubleshoot by performing data analysis and hardware failure analysis/repair in a high-pressure environment.
• Utilize onboard diagnostics to diagnose and address equipment issues; document repairs and maintenance.
• Monitor equipment and processes and proactively seek process improvements.
