Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Photo Equipment Technician to perform setup, calibration, system support, preventive maintenance, and quality testing on photolithography equipment. You will collect data, make inline adjustments, and perform repairs, while adhering to health, safety, and environmental guidelines.

The role requires a strong safety focus, basic tool proficiency, and the ability to troubleshoot complex equipment in a high-pressure environment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or technical certification required.
• 4 years of relevant technical experience or military service.
• Familiar with 6S best practices.
• Familiar with TBM concepts.
• Focused on continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Safety- and quality-centered mindset in daily tasks.
• Proficiency with basic hand tools for maintenance and repair.
• Knowledge or experience with the photolithography process is a plus.
• Troubleshoot data and hardware issues under pressure; analyze failures.
• Utilize onboard diagnostics to identify and fix equipment problems.
• Document all repairs and maintenance thoroughly.
• Monitor equipment and processes and seek improvements.
• Work in a team and communicate effectively across the organization.
