Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Photo Equipment Technician to perform setup, calibration, system support, preventive maintenance, and quality testing on photolithography equipment. You will collect data, make inline adjustments, and perform repairs, while adhering to health, safety, and environmental guidelines.

The role requires a strong safety focus, basic tool proficiency, and the ability to troubleshoot complex equipment in a high-pressure environment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or technical certification required.
• 4 years of relevant technical experience or military service.
• Familiar with 6S best practices.
• Familiar with TBM concepts.
• Focused on continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Position Summary

In your role as a Photo Equipment Technician you’ll be responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing and/or system operations, such as working with engineers and manufacturing in set-up and calibration tasks, system support, preventative maintenance, failure analysis, documenting/following standard operating procedures, as well as performing maintenance and quality testing related to the photolithography equipment. Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct in-line adjustments, flow adjustments, and mechanical repairs. Requires compliance with all health, safety and environmental management system guidelines.

Role and Responsibilities

• A safety and quality centered mindset.

• 4 years equivalent relevant technical and/or Military service.

Compensation & Benefits

The current base salary range for this role is between $18.60 - $45.00/hour. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
