Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Photo Equipment Technician to support photolithography equipment setup, calibration, maintenance, and quality testing. You will collaborate with engineers and manufacturing and use advanced programs to analyze data and perform in-line adjustments.

Candidates should have an associate degree or technical certification, 2+ years of technical experience or military service, and strong troubleshooting skills; familiarity with 6S is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or technical certification required.
• 2+ years of relevant technical experience or military service.
• Experience with mechanical or computer-based troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with 6S best practices.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safety and quality centered mindset while working with basic hand tools within the photolithography processes
• Troubleshooting by performing data analysis and hardware failure analysis/repair in a high-pressure atmosphere. Utilizing onboard diagnostics to understand and correct equipment issues; and thoroughly documenting all repairs and maintenance.
• Monitoring equipment and processes in current state and proactively looks for ways to improve processes.
